What we actually sell
New products. Clearance prices.
Open Box Industries is a clearance store, not an appliance store. Appliances are part of what we sell, but the mix changes with the deals we find. The constant is simple: brand-new products, never previously owned, priced below normal retail.
The inventory changes. The rules do not.
New, not used
We are not a thrift store or a used-goods dealer. If an individual listing is an exception, it will say so plainly.
The exact item
Each card is tied to one real SKU on our floor, with its own photos, notes, condition, and price.
No fake urgency
Inventory is one-off because of how we buy it. When an item sells, that exact listing is done.
Where the price break comes from
Overstock
A retailer or distributor ordered more than it needed. The product is new; the warehouse just needs the space back.
Discontinued products
A model, package, color, or product line changed. The older version does not stop being new when the catalog moves on.
Canceled orders
A project changed, a customer never took delivery, or the wrong item was ordered. The product was never owned.
Freight and cosmetic marks
A carton was crushed or an item picked up a scratch or dent in transit. We photograph the actual item and write down what we see.
Retailer closeouts and liquidation lots
Sometimes we buy inventory from a retailer or distributor clearing space. That is one source—not the identity of the store.
